Channel Update and Second GTA Machinima

The first version of the new channel design.

It's a brand new week and alot has been going on while the blog has remained inactive without any new production information. The first news on the docket is that the Youtube channel has undergone some much needed changes which include removal of videos that were not beneficial to the channel, a channel banner, and a good amount of currently uploaded videos have been organized into playlists for their respective category of film. Branding is now a thing so the company logo is in the bottom right as per the watermark feature of a Youtube Partner.

This is only the first iteration of the channel redesign and soon a new channel trailer will be making an appearance. There is no ETA on when the channel trailer will be done or when i'll actually manage to get to working on it but it simply is one of the things that I will eventually get to once I get enough original machinima content out. Expect it in a long while. I mean a long while because I have no clue when i'll work on it.

A still from my second GTA V machinima.

The second thing on the docket is a new video I made last week. This is my second major machinima and my second attempt at one using the Rockstar Editor. I don't just do editing in the Editor though and export my video then finish editing in Premiere. That's where I try my best to find imperfections and fix errors in my videos. This is a milestone machinima for me though as it features more complex camera techniques and a more straightforward narrative.

This machinima has also been submitted to the 2015 Machinima Expo as my first ever machinima entry into a film festival. I've previously done previous films as an actor in real world circumstances or directed my own with help from fellow friends. This will be one project that i've done almost entirely on my own.

But that is all for now. Expect a preview for a new machinima in a few weeks time!
